I admit I have not done the greatest job of updating my son’s baby book or journal. It just felt like a chore when he was small and now that he’s bigger I feel like I’ve missed writing down so much! While wandering around a visitor’s center last summer I noticed these adorable National Parks Passport Books and I thought it would be such a great thing to do for my son as he grows up. It’s something I SO WISH I’d been able to do as a child. We really enjoy and value spending time outside and visiting our National and State Parks and trails so I’m hoping it will be quite full by the time he hits adulthood.

The book is divided up by regions and has an area for the official park and some space for extra silly stamps they might have on hand. There are also sometimes stamps for landmarks like important trails (or geysers, lakes, big rocks, etc.).  The only hard part is remembering to pack this little book when you travel!
